What Burrow does with your stuff
Burrow reads what you save so you can find it again — even the words inside a screenshot. Here is exactly what that means, in plain terms.
What we send, and to whom
To make a saved image findable by its text, Burrow sends that image to a vision model to read it. We only use providers on an allowlist whose API terms say they do not retain or train on what we send. We send the content you saved and nothing about who you are beyond what the request needs.
You can turn it off
Reading your content is a per-workspace choice. Turn enrichment off for a workspace and nothing in it is ever sent for analysis — capture and your own search keep working exactly the same. Free workspaces do no model work at all; enrichment is a paid capability.

Where this is going
Sending content to anyone else, even briefly, is not where we want to stay. We are building toward running these models on infrastructure you control, so your content never has to leave it. Until then, the allowlist and the off switch are how we keep this honest.
You can always leave
Nothing you keep ever disappears on its own, and you can export everything you have stored at any time, on any plan, in open formats.
